Is Water Leaking From Your Washing Machine?

Watch this step-by-step video to help you fix your washing machine if water is leaking from it.

Turn off the water supply

Unplug your washing machine and turn off the water supply using the shutoff valve.

Remove excess water

Try to determine where the leak is coming from and then remove all excess water from the washing machine.

Unscrew the water supply line

If the washing machine is leaking from the hose or water supply tub, unscrew the water supply line from the wall and the washing machine.

Replace the hose

If any damage is found to the hose or hose washer, simply replace the entire water supply hose and reattach ensuring a good seal.

Check for leaks

Once everything has been reconnected, turn on the water supply and check for any leaks. If no leaks are found, plug in your washing machine and try using it again.
