Covered breakdowns aren’t as scary when you have a plan.
Fun Fact:
John likes to travel with his wife, especially to Disney. They enjoy going on all the rides.
Say hello to John, an electrical Technician and self-starter with over 35 years of experience. He began his career by reaching out to local electricians, then got hired as a first-year apprentice. John attended night school for his electrical apprenticeship and worked in a trade school during the day. He eventually worked his way up to a Journeyman Electrician’s License and now holds two Master Electrician’s Licenses.
John takes pride in every project he takes on, often relying on his favorite tool, a trusty pair of lineman’s pliers. What sets John apart is how intently he listens. By taking the time to understand a homeowner’s needs, he’s able to ask the right questions and get to the root of the problem. John also acknowledges that his years of experience have been very helpful.
As an AHS video call Technician, John finds real satisfaction in helping members who don’t believe they can troubleshoot or repair a problem on their own. Walking them through the fix together is one of the most rewarding parts of his job. “The happiness and the gratefulness of the members make those my favorite video calls,” according to John.
For any homeowner looking to take on a DIY project, John’s advice is to make safety your first priority, do your research before you start, and never hesitate to call on a Technician for guidance. Beyond work, John enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors with his wife.
In addition to being a video call Technician, John is also an educator. Some of his proudest moments have been seeing his students graduate from school and then go out into the field to start their own electrical careers.
The next time an electrical issue has you tripped up, video call with a Technician like John to help get your spark back.
