April pending home sales rise.
The National Association of REALTORS® reported that pending home sales for the month of April edged up slightly, from 105.7 in March to106.0 in April. Year over year, pending home sales were up 10.3% over April 2012.
Home sales pick up speed.
Thanks to strong demand and limited inventories in many markets, the average days on market for listings fell to 46 during April, down from 62 during March and well below the normal range of 90-120 days, according to the National Association of REALTORS®.
