American Home Shield Announces Top Quality Contractors
American Home Shield, the nation’s leading provider of home warranties, announced the winners of their sixth annual contractor awards program. These six companies, one from each of the major trade categories, received the highest customer ratings last year.
“We are proud to recognize this elite group of contractors who provide our home warranty customers with a best-in-class customer experience – every home, every time,” said Dave Quandt, vice president of field operations for American Home Shield, a business unit of ServiceMaster, a leading provider of essential residential and commercial services.
Ask a homeowner who has dealt with a failing major home appliance or system on their own – finding a trusted and qualified repair person is often one of the most frustrating aspects of getting things up and running again. Having a home warranty with a large network of trusted contractors minimizes much of the frustration and protects you against unexpected repair costs.
American Home Shield boasts one of the largest contractor networks in the nation with over 11,000 and growing and closely monitors customer service feedback along with a variety of other metrics to ensure AHS home warranty customers receive quality service.
The following winners scored the highest in customer satisfaction for their respective trades:
Appliance: Omega Force Services (Rogers, Minn.)
Electric: TWC Enterprises (Millersport, Ohio)
Garage Door: Open Up Garage Door & Service, Inc. (Hurst, Texas)
HVAC: Air 72, Inc. (Charlotte, N.C.)
Plumbing: High Priority Plumbing & Services, Inc. (Conyers, Ga.)
Pool and Spa: Expert Pools (Frisco, Texas)
American Home Shield also recognized a group of over 100 elite contractors who earned top customer service rankings in their respective trades.
“Last year our service contractors responded to over 3 million customer service requests,” Quandt said. “When customers feel they receive exceptional service, they’re more likely to refer that service contractor to friends and family – this lets us know we’re hitting the mark and also opens the door for service contractors to grow their business.”
Since the award program’s inception in 2010, over $4 million has been awarded to contractors and small-business owners who delivered top-notch customer service on behalf of AHS.
