As part of our efforts to re-assert our commitment to you and your customers, we’re happy to share with you our plans to help support you in 2012. From our brand new logo and new websites to our investments in new technology, new products, new marketing channels and more, we’re striving to simplify and improve your customers’ lives.
Here are just a few of the key initiatives you can look forward to from us in 2012:
- Initiatives to help build better relationships with your customers
Now when you provide American Home Shield® with your customers' email addresses, we will initiate a variety of communications that helps make them aware-and take full advantage-of their home protection plan benefits. From what to do when your customers need service to what to expect when a contractor comes to their home to do the work, these efforts will help ensure your customers get the most out of their home protection plan.
- A marketing campaign to help you better connect with sellers
In 2012, we will have a marketing campaign specifically geared toward home sellers. This new campaign will help us communicate important tips on selling their homes, assist them in preparing their homes for the market, and help them keep their home in market-ready condition until it sells. Stay tuned for additional details on this exciting campaign.
- HVAC Case Management: A personal touch for your customers
We will begin piloting a case management technology platform in 2012. When customers experience HVAC system failure and/or issues, they will be assigned an American Home Shield case manager to assist them until the issue is resolved. We find that having a one-to-one connection enables a more streamlined approach to resolving HVAC system issues.
- Bundled pricing on our most comprehensive coverage rolls out nationwide
We've consolidated our product packages (ServicePlus® and CoveragePlus® Packages) into one product offering at a bundled price. With this product, called FlexPlan Combo®, your customers will receive the most comprehensive coverage for a competitive price. FlexPlan Combo will launch nationwide in January 2012.
- A new website to accompany our new brand
In addition to providing the same important content and features from our previous site, our new real estate site provides a new look and feel for American Home Shield, easier site navigation for our customers and clients, and access to other important content, tools and features. - New FlexPlan pricing means enhanced benefits
Beginning January 1, 2012, new pricing for the FlexPlan® product will go into effect nationwide. This will allow us the flexibility to meet the increasing demands of customers who are using our products more than ever before. We are enhancing our service capabilities through investments in customer relationship management technology, HVAC case management initiatives, improvements in our IVR systems and much more.
