- Stain removal sponge.
Keep a supply handy to remove marks from walls, bathtubs or almost any grungy area before showings. They’re also great for keeping your office looking neat for clients.
- A multi-tool.
You never know when you’ll need to tighten a loose screw or clip an unraveling thread from a garment. Carry a multi-tool, and you’ll be better prepared for the unexpected.
- Spare change.
If you usually pay with plastic and don’t typically get change, make a point of carrying a supply in your car or bag in case you need to feed a parking meter or top off a leaky tire on your car.
- A tape measure.
How big is the master bedroom? Will my couch fit against that wall? Clients ask about a home’s dimensions all the time. Carry a tape measure, and you’ll be able to answer them accurately.
In addition to keeping your hair looking great, hairspray is also useful for eliminating static cling. Spray it lightly inside a static-prone skirt or pants and let it dry, or spray it on your skin if you’re worried about staining. It’s a great multi-tasker!
