Unique Homes

Dr. Seuss would live here ... would you?

Straight out of Dr. Seuss, the Mushroom House shocks neighbors and delights their kids.

Cincinnati Ohio

Architect and design professor Terry Brown has a vision -one that he's still trying to complete. His Mushroom House is an ongoing 15-year project combining homage to the organic styles of Frank Lloyd Wright and Gustav Stickley with pure whimsy. Neighbors and passersby either love it or hate it but kids really respond to the obvious influences of Dr. Seuss. The house is currently up for sale at $559,000, and Brown and his wife plan to move back to Texas. He's ready to take on another project - one that exists only in his mind, for now.
